Dependable Auto Sales and Service, Inc. opened in March, 1990 with one vision: to take care of our customers. Owners Stephen Conroy and Richard Jindra have diverse backgrounds in automotive service, sales, management and advertising that have helped build Dependable to one of the top dealerships in the county.

What's the one thing that brings in the customers? If you ask Rick or Steve, they'll both say "referrals". People are happy to send friends and relatives to Dependable because they know they will be taken care of.

Rick Jindra Richard A. Jindra, Co-Owner
A Binghamton Central High School graduate, Richard received his Associates degree from Broome Community College, and attended Used Car Management School. Richard entered the car business in 1978, where he worked at Miller Lincoln Mercury as a salesman, business manager, used car manager and sales manager. Now the president and treasurer of Dependable Auto Sales, his duties are financial planning, advertising, marketing and sales, but Rick's number one concern is customer satisfaction. He will go to great lengths to get the vehicle that you want.

After business hours, Rick's other priority is his family. He is the proud father of 4 wonderful children.

Steve Conroy Stephen E. Conroy, Co-Owner
Stephen started in the automobile industry in 1980 as a mechanic for Miller Lincoln Mercury. In the ten years that he worked there, Stephen became service advisor, service manager, salesman, assistant sales manager and, finally, business manager. Steve is Vice President and Secretary of Dependable Auto Sales. His duties are purchasing vehicles for inventory, overseeing the service department, quality control, and sales.

Steve lives in Kirkwood with his wife and two children, is involved with youth sports, hunting, fishing and snowmobiling, and loves the outdoors.

Pat Palmatier, Sales Associate
Pat and his wife Maria have two children, Michael and Nicole. Involvement with family and community is important to Pat, who coaches little league and participates in the local United Way and Catholic Youth Organization. His honesty, determination, and great communication skills have made him an asset to his family and community.

Elizabeth Armstrong, Customer Service
Liz has been working in business offices for 15 years. She enjoys the interaction with people and you can tell when you work with her. She services her customers with integrity and a smile. Call Liz--she'll take good care of you.
